Ever since I was a little girl, I've been a people-serving, feminine-detail-loving, go-after-your-dreams, type gal. I found joy in the mastery & art of ballet & danced competitively for years. I love the outdoors, nature, & people. I have an open window policy at my office & love working closely with floral designers! (Plus I have a HUGE soft spot for alfresco garden & private estate weddings!) If I’m not directing a wedding on a Saturday, chances are you’ll find me tending to my garden or relaxing outside with my family.
My career journey began in Palm Coast, Florida where I worked at the four-diamond Hammock Beach Resort. My love & aptitude for hospitality led me to Orlando to attend UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management. While studying for my degree in Event Management, I gained invaluable experience working for the world-famous Peabody Orlando Hotel, at the leading road race & Disney Running Series producer, Track Shack Events, & at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. I met my Mister Right at Group Night at our church, he either had an interesting mustache or just a silly nametag (something we still can't seem to agree on!) & a warm personality that intrigued me. Straight out of college, I was hired by Hunter Vision, the best LASIK practice in Central Florida, where I had the mighty responsibility of managing all of their events & a majority of the marketing efforts. My experience at all of these top companies strengthened my leadership, productivity, & coordination skills & gave me exposure to working with high-end clientele. In January of 2015, with all of my combined experience with luxury brands & hospitality giants, I took a leap of faith & launched Blue Ribbon Weddings!
Now, I'm so privileged to combine my passion for design, & my love for connecting with people, with my God-given strength of focus & perseverance to manage big & small projects. I couldn't be more thrilled to lead this company, & to get to work with some of the most incredible people on this planet! Trust me & my amazing team to orchestrate every last detail. We'll make planning enjoyable, & produce the finest, memorable wedding for you!

So far my journey has been filled with love, laughter and let's face it there were certainly some challenges in there too. After graduating college with a criminal justice degree and starting every girl's dream job at e-commerce fashion website RueLaLa, I eventually recognized my strengths of being calm in challenging situations, my discerning eye with an attention to detail & often times a photographic memory!
After getting married (to my kindergarten playmate!) and enjoying every single second of the planning process, I jumped right in and launched my own business in New England. I worked for free, yes free!, for my first year to gain the utmost experience. I planned weddings at barns and ski resorts in the picturesque state of Maine, historical homes in the suburbs of Boston, charming country inns in Connecticut, and even a working train station!
Joining my husband as he chased his own dreams, we relocated from Boston to Orlando, and I met Katie. We have been told we look like, act alike, and even asked if we were sisters! Not sisters, just two lucky gals who met through a mutual friend (thanks Carly!). Now able to do weddings full time, I literally eat, sleep and dream weddings....and there's no looking back!
I am married to my high school sweet heart! We have a silly pup, Charlie, and we are obsessed. Our wedding day is still one of my faves, and it was pure magic. My favorite city is Roma (and its cacio de pepe that am still thinking about). I am a morning person - savoring sips of coffee during sunrises, I sing 90's songs while designing, and have never eaten Chick Fil A (I'm allergic to peanuts!).
